REPAIRING ELECTRONICS FOR OVER 30 YEARS

Eric Renaud started repairing his school teacher's valve radiograms back in 1952 at the age of 16. After working at the SABC (radio transmitters and outside broadcasting setup), and at CSIR, he went
on to lead the DG research teams at ISCOR from the mid 1960’s.

His passion for electronics led him to design, build, and program a 12-bit computer for process control – something
unheard of at the time.

This love of electronics was passed on to his sons, Glen and Paul, and grandsons, Kyle and Dylan. All have a love of the principles of electronics and how clear, logical thinking can assist with the troubleshooting and repair of electronic systems, right down to component level.

More importantly, Eric taught his sons that a Grand Creator -an Intelligent Designer - set in place the laws of the universe, of which the laws and principles behind electronics form a small part. (The Bible: Hebrews 3:4)

Although Eric passed away in January 2017, we continue as a family business to research, develop, troubleshoot and repair – in the age-old tradition we were taught!
